Twins?

So my blog is up and running. Woo! So what to say what to say.

Today I had an interesting debate during my marathon 3-hour break. Now bear with me here.

A girl has intercourse with two men at the same time. She just so happens to ovulate two eggs, and each of the two men fertilize one of the eggs. So there are now two fertilized eggs, each one having a different father. So when the two kids are born, are they twins?

My argument is that I do realize they aren’t paternal twins because of the two different fathers, and they obviously won’t be identical twins. However, they both share the same womb and both are born at the same time, and if you ask me that makes them twins.

I have to get all my textbooks soon…I should look into that. I probably have readings I have to do sometime soon. And homework. Ugh…

Other than that, same old same old. Right now I’m really diggin’ Super Mario 64 – Sunken Suite and Zelda 64 – Pachelbel’s Ganon, both available for free at OC Remix

  1. Well… I suggest that as soon as they are out of the vaginal opening, put the twins together and poke them with sticks untill they fight.

This wuoldn’t accomplish much, but it would be cool… and we could crown the winner the dominant twin, and his father get’s to be the father of them both… (unless in fact the dominant twins father doesn’t want babies, witch is entirely possible, than he chooses to pass that responsability onto the loser’s dad… blood tests determ witch baby belongs to who of course.)

  2. O.k… I’m very aware that I’m posting an anonymous blog but it’s only cause i’m WAY to lazy to set up an account. I am of course the dearly beloved girlfriend. Man I sound like an old woman. Anyways, no they aren’t twins.
I have what is of course a theoretical question for you all. If (keep in mind IF = theoretical). If I had a dream in which a giant squirrel was carrying me away, am I a nut?? Keeping in mind he could just be taking me back to his tree to do ungodly things to me, but we just wont go there. Oh man I’ve just screwed myself in a big way I think. Maybe I should leave it as anonymous. Oh well, too late now. Besides I’ve never been ashamed of appearing completely insane.
    Thats all for now.
    Later Days

  3. wait wait wait… if you’re the mother… that means you let two guys sleep with you at the same time… (as was mentioned in the original post of the blog).

I’m just thinking of the logistics of this… since it obviously wasn’t your standard double penetration, if both men managed to fertileze an egg.

If it was TRUELY at the same time, then… well… how on earth did you manage that… it must have felt like child birth just concieving these two dapper babies in that fashion.

Wierd… that’s wierd… allthough I’m not one to judge the sex life of other people… since mine isn’t much to speak of in the first place.

  4. I found on the web that identical twins are maternal twins, they are the same thing. Therefore, I think they are simply half siblings! Twins share the same DNA and these two kids don’t!! They only have the same mother. SO i don’t think the boys win!!
I think it’s the girls that have won!!!

A Utah bio website says, “Maternal twins occur naturally and are genetic clones.”

SO in this situation i still hold that they are not twins!!
    Sorry Brad!–>
